VNBT System Update FAQs

About Our Banking System Update

Q: What’s happening at Vista National Bank & Trust?

We’re upgrading our core banking system from Fiserv Precision to Fiserv Premier. This will allow us to offer more robust features and better serve you going forward.

Q: Is this a full system conversion?

Not quite. While it’s a significant upgrade, it’s not a complete system overhaul. Think of it as a move to a more powerful version—your accounts, balances and most services will remain uninterrupted.

Q: Will I notice any changes?

Most clients won’t notice much, if anything. You’ll see minor interface updates or improvements, and we’ll give you a heads-up ahead of time.

Q: Will my account number, routing number, or login credentials change?

  • Your account and routing numbers will stay the same.
  • Online banking username will remain unchanged. You have been assigned a temporary password to use the first time you log in to Online Banking after our technology update -- for details on your temporary password, please see the information inserted with your statement mailed June 18 or call us at (866) 551-2266You will then be prompted to reset your password, accept updated disclosures and select eStatements.
  • Once you've re-logged in to Online Banking, your mobile app will function as usual.

Q: Is my Debit Card impacted by this change?

Your debit card functionality will remain the same. However, this upgrade will allow us to offer you even more flexible use of the card in the future, like addition to digital wallets.

Q: Will there be any downtime?

We’re working to minimize any service interruptions. There will be brief downtime (e.g., during the final system cutover), and we’ll notify you in advance. Starting at 2 PM CT on Friday, July 18, you may experience periods where you can access and view accounts, but not complete transactions. The Harveyville Branch will be closed Saturday, July 19. Most functionality will resume on Monday, July 21 at Noon CT. Online Bill Pay will resume on Tuesday, July 22.

ACH/Wires

  • Capabilities will suspend at 2 am CT on Friday, July 18 and resume on Monday, July 21.

Online Banking and Bill Pay

  • Friday July 18, starting at 3 pm CT, Transfers, Deposits and transactions will be suspended until Monday, July 21 am.

Mobile App

  • Friday July 18, starting at 8 am CT, new enrollment in the mobile app will be suspended until Monday, July 21.

Q: Do I need to do anything?

You will be asked to accept new disclosures and agreements and select eStatements and eNotices when you log into Online Banking. You may also need to reset your password.

Q: Why are you making this change?

This upgrade gives us access to enhanced tools that improve how we manage your accounts behind the scenes—meaning faster service, better reporting, and more modern features in the future.

Q: Who can I contact with questions?

Feel free to call us at (866) 551-2266 toll free, speak to your banker or email support@myvista.bank. We’re here to help.
